Brew one espresso or two 8 oz. cups of coffee, or anything in between. Brew one cup regular, strong… or extra strong, for emergencies.

How Things Work:

Frothing and Purging
After you finish frothing the C1000 needs to perform a quick purging cycle to re-set the ThermoCoil to the Coffee Ready position. Four blinking lights indicate that you need to perform this 20 second procedure (see the video clip "Purge"): Place a cup underneath the frother. Turn the selector switch to the steam position (9 o’clock position) and press the hot water button. The C1000 will pump some hot water through the frother and will stop after a few seconds. Turn the selector switch back to the coffee position (12 o’clock position) and the machine is ready to make more coffees.
