How Things Work:

1. Select one of 17 fineness settings (1: very fine; 4.5: medium; 9: very coarse).

2. Select length of grinding time. The numbers 4, 8, 12 on the timer indicate the approximate amount of cups of coffee provided the fineness selector is set to medium (4.5). When you select a finer grind, less coffee will be processed in the same time. When you select a coarser grind, more coffee will be processed in the same time. Adjust the timer accordingly.

3. Push the ON button. The burr grinder will grind and stop after the pre-selected time is up.

4. Tap the ground coffee container slightly to release some of the static, remove it from the machine and open the lid slowly.
